Like most great products, it started at home.

Every Friday night was “cuisine night.”
A country picked from a jar. A dish cooked from scratch.

From Filipino to Brazilian, every week was different.
Then came Vietnamese night.

Pork belly was the obvious choice.
But what would go with it?

After a quick search, chilli caramel was on the menu.
After cooking, there was way too much sauce.

So it got shared with friends.
Those friends shared it again.

Before long, people were asking:

Today, Chilli Caramel and Extra Hot Chilli Caramel make up around 25% of all sales at markets.
