I am a complete 'chilli woos,' however, I loved the idea of marrying the delightful tropical flavour of pineapples with a little bit of heat, so I gave Smit's Chilli's Pineapple Jalapeno Hot Sauce a go, and I loved it. It was great on eggs, deli meat sangers (instead of butter, mayo or avo) and steaks.
What a great tasting Jam! Perfect for loads of things, cheese boards, sandwiches, chips! If it needs a jam, this is the one!! 😋
I ordered a couple of jars of the chilli jam online and my partner asked why we didn't just get something local? And then he tasted the Smit's Chilli version and said it was the best he had ever tasted (and he's tasted a lot!). We use it as a dipping sauce, in toasties, on pies, to boost flavour of veges ... It suits my palette (which is firmly in the mild category) and has amazing flavour. "Do yourself a favour!"
